College Information Night - A Success Story!

 

Wednesday May 9, 2012 will be remembered by many of the Inland Empire’s student\athletes as the night they learned something about school outsideof school.  Platinum FC along with the Los Angeles Galaxy, The Sports Source and SOS So Cal presented
the first Inland Empire College Information Night.

With 386 interested parents and students filling the SMSU Events Center at Cal State San Bernardino and a panel featuring some of Southern California top coaches including USC’s Ali Khosroshahin and the Head Coach of the NCCAA Women’s Division 1 Champions, Cal Baptist Lancers, Kristen St. Clair, San Bernardino Mayor’s Pat Morris called it “A great night for our future”.

Assistant Coach -- Cal State San Bernardino Men's & Women's Soccer Goal Keeper Trainer


Kelin Briones begins his second year as an assistant coach for the Coyotes' men's soccer team and his first season with the women's team.

His responsibilities include working with goalkeepers, assisting with recruiting and other duties as assigned by the head coach.

In 2010, Briones was instrumental in Tanner Olinger's development and the relationship paid off when Olinger was named CSUSB's first All-American in the history of the program.

Kelin, a Chino native, played college soccer at the University of San Diego. While a Torero, he was a two-time All-West Coast Conference goalkeeper. He helped USD earn a trip to the 2009 NCAA Tournament.

Kelin is the full time Goal Keeper trainer for all Platinum FC keepers.
